   After the birth of Krishna, at night, on the advice of Yogmaya, Krishna was taken to Gokul (Yashoda). On his return, he(Vasudev) took his(Nand-Yashoda) daughter with him. By the sound of the child's cry, the soldiers gave the news of her birth to Kansa. As soon as Kansa picked up the girl to kill her. She bounced and come back in her Yogmaya form.

 Kansa became convinced that he had been tricked. He ordered the killing of newborn children in and around the kingdom. Nand Rai was the feudal lord of the village and everyone considered Krishna as their prince.

 

Kansa called Nand Rai to Mathura and took all the information by boasting about the birth of a son. Then, he asked Putana to kill Krishna.  He asked about the birth Putana to kill Krishna.

Putna’s first birth- Putna was the sister of Vakasur. She made Kansa her brother and helped him in the war. Putna was a demon who changed her form into other. She raised her power in the sky

with her magic. Putana came to Krishna with poison in her breasts to feed him. Kanha took his life along with the milk. Because of feeding milk, Krishna gave her the respect of nurse mother.

The first born of Putna was Ratnaprabha, the daughter of King Bali of Putna. In Vaman incarnation of God was loved in the form of a son and when Vaman ji took over the entire earth from King Bali, God accepted the idea of feeding the child by putting poison in the milk. The one who fed poison in milk was given a place in heaven as a mother.
