The people were very happy. There was an atmosphere of happiness all around. Kansa was the son of king Ugrasen. Her sister was Devaki. He loved his sister Devaki very much. He got Devaki married to Vasudev the head of the Yadav clan.

He killed the children of Devaki and Vasudev one by one. The seventh child was taken away by Rohini who was the first wife of Vasudev.
