Krishna - Rishi Durwasa story
Krishna's
Maya-Durwasa Rishi's experience
Introduction-
Krishna is the omnipotent and universal creator. His Maya
has no limit. Rishi Durwasa is the incarnation of Lord Shiva. He is supreme, he
has knowledge of all the teachings but due to his anger everyone is afraid.
Beginning of the story-
One day Mahamuni Durwasa came to the universe to see Krishna. He saw Krishna playing with ordinary children on the banks of Yamuna. Krishna was covered in mud. Durwasa Rishi wondered what kind of God he was.
Durwasa Rishi -Durvasa Rishi started thinking what kind of God is this who is playing in
the mud with the cowherds. To me he seems to be Nand's son.
Durwasa looked at Krishna
and Krishna fell into his lap and then he fell out of his lap. Krishna was
looking like a lion. Krishna smiled and Durwasa fell into his face.
The sage saw a huge world in the face of Krishna, a python wandering in the forest swallowed him. On the back of the python he saw the world, the underworld and the Universe. The place of the two countries reached the mountain where he were worshiping thousand of sages.
Suddenly ocean came near the sage while drowning him. The sage was being swept away in water, he had forgotten everything. There he saw another universe.
There are many rivers
which are never ending. He looked carefully and saw the Virja river. After
reaching Virja river, he entered the universe and saw Shri Krishna with Radha,
Gopiyo, Gwalo and cows.
Prayer to Krishna by Durwasa Rishi –
Durwasa Rishi raised his hands again and again
and started saluting Krishna. He said, "O Nand Nandan, you are a great
illusion. Your eyes are wonderful. There is a smile on your face."
He praises him again and
again in his childhood form. He salutes the lord of the three worlds playing on
the banks of Yamuna. Durvasa Rishi said and went to Badrikashram in the north
direction.
Moral of the story- Krishna
Bhakti means love in comparison to knowledge.
Conclusion-
Even the poorest of the poor can not win love without devotion to Krishna.
Krishna's Maya can be won only by love.
